"From kindergarten on, my art therapy has been drawing, painting and photography.  I am always creating with a designing tool in my hand, be it a paint brush, pencil or camera, inspiring me for years.

“I’ve had a wonderful career in portrait-photography and a second career in education.  Now, with more time available, I create in my beautiful art studio at home in Minnesota.  My work has been featured in art-shows and many exhibitions such as MIA Foot-in-the Door, Rum-River Art Center, Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts (now North Suburban Center for the Arts) and Blaine Art Council in Minnesota, winning some awards. I am a member of MIA, North Suburban Center for the Arts and participate in Rum River Art Centers many art gallery shows.”

“My art features my gardens in Minnesota, treasured pets and some of my travels, such as the Texas home of my adult children. I feel my strengths in art are the use of color and detail. I love bold colors in photography also. "
